I took the trauma scissors to work and it wouldn’t cut gauze! I even had trouble cutting thin plastic with it! I would not recommend this product to anyone!

I have had no problems with these shears, they cut through cloth well. However, in the description it says they have a “special edge that has custom cylinder turner built into it”. Maybe I misunderstood this description, but I thought that it meant it would allow me to open oxygen cylinders which would be really convenient. When I received these shears they had no such “special edge”. The shears are fine, but they aren’t special.

I lost mine and needed to replace them– I would recommend them to anyone in Medical field. I am a medical student and used them for almost every rotation! Especially trauma!
